Taxes are making Pa. a terrible place to live in general. Townships act like little fiefdoms where those in charge like to dictatorally rule.
People in Hanover, PA are very friendly and love volunteering, helping others. There is a strong sense of community and a lot of pride in this town. There are many different retirement homes, communities from inexpensive to quite expensive. We have a small transportation system which is a bus to take people around town for a good price. We have a lot of people who contribute their time to various charities and have many, many churches for a small town. It is a really good place to live and raise a family and many of our older population were born and raised here. Truly a great town.
