Hammond is the largest city in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located 45 miles (72 km) east of Baton Rouge and 45 miles (72 km) northwest of New Orleans. Its population was 20,019 in the 2010 census; Hammond is home to Southeastern Louisiana University and is the principal city of the Hammond Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Tangipahoa Parish.

Yes because it's a nice way of enjoying a quiet Sunday there are nice parks nice restaurants Nice of the cafes outside it's a lot of history there and sometimes on Saturday you get to hear alive jazz band
Hammond is fine but there are tons of college students, and closer to rough neighborhoods mixed into the area.
It would be easier for me due to transportation
This town could be better if the community help out .The education is not great nor recommended there is a select few of great jobs .Overall if you have the opportunity to leave and better yourself take that chance.
