It all in the way you treat a person depending on their age. My community seems to be very respectful when it comes to the elders and the young.
Everyone help me years ago when I was pregnant
People in Goose Creek go out of their way to be 'age friendly' to seniors and the elderly, in public places (food shopping markets) and in Church communities (such as United Methodist Church). Aside from the DRIVERS in the State of South Carolina who are just plain JERKS and know nothing about the Rules of the Road, people I've known in Goose Creek are very age friendly.
I have no idea whether Goose Creek is 'age friendly' or 'age unfriendly.'
To me, everyone seems to get along with everyone else very well. If there are jealousy or envy issues, then I am unaware of them. THIS IS A HUGE CHANGE FROM OUR FORMER HOME IN North Haledon, New Jersey. It is a WELCOME change. Our neighborhood is a mix of young, old, white, black, Filipino and a slew of folks from different areas of the country. That's what makes Goose Creek a quality place to live.
Most people down here are pretty friendly and would help you in anyway they can. Southern hospitality is great here, we have few bad apples but who doesn't.
