I just moved to this area only 2 months ago, but i have seen a lot of people around that appear age friendly.
Not enough, employment availability, not enough education opportunities for those with financial issues, needs more variety of transportation to be provided, and not enough kind hearted/caring people to help the elderly as needed.
Easy access to both health and social services. Safe and comfortable.
Comminity engagements
I think my community is age-friendly because I see the elderly in my community walking their dogs and such. I like the elderly around the community because they actually keep an eye on what's going on. No harm in that.
