High cost of living, beautiful mountains and rivers. Finding a physician can be difficult. Highly educated community. Wonderful Senior Center. Public transportation available. Great hospitals and physicians.
Ft. Collins is a college town (CSU) It caters to the college students and to young families with children. There are jobs for seniors if you want to work at Walmart or Sam's Club. I have a college degree, spent 25 years at my job and then 5 years after I retired at another job and now can't even get an interview because I am "over qualified, over educated and over trained" in other words I'm too old.

We have great health/well-being services and educational opportunities through local Poudre Valley health care system/Foundation, City-funded Senior Center, Larimer County services for aging, and Colorado State University's Osher Center. Lots of wonderful arts and outdoor opportunities.
