For the 50 years of age home owner and individual still having to work...not age friendly more like neglect/ignore. Not much offered as far as assistance with repairs rather it be financial or just physical limitations there are few to no services to reach out to; maybe a church or two that claims they are benevolent. (I never found that to be the case when I attempted to reach out). Been unemployed over one year....I guess I should be counting my blessings since I am not homeless yet. I have very little savings left and there is nothing to reach out to except possibly $50.00 a month at the food stamp office. I have not ever utilized any type of government assistance so perhaps there is a game strategy involved.

Family center with senior citizen activities. Trendier restaurants nearby with more sophisticated bars. Shopping choices for older adults. Assisted living facilities are being developed everywhere.
