Espanola and Santa Cruz are very friendly places to live. There is a great college nearby where I attended to get my Associates Degree in Library Science. The Los Alamos National Lab is nearby. They hire many people from this area. There are many artists in various media who work and live here, including the Native American rug weavers. There are two Native American tribes nearby. The Presbyterian Hospital is also close by. We have good shopping at Walmart. I was a care giver at the homes of several older adults for two years.
Espanola residents are often older and always friendly.
Espanola is a family centered community. I attended the Northern New Mexico College and I have a AAS Degree in Library Science. I have two years experience taking care of the seniors in their homes. There are many active churches here.
