There is always transportation for those who cannot drive. Colorado has all kinds of help/benefits offered to elderly!

I don't see any specific character traits of Denver that cater too or ignore any particular age population. There seems to be decent opportunity for community gatherings, things to do, transportation services and i friendly community. The only thing I can think is that this is in fact a city so things like driving, traffic and parking my not be favorable to an older population but compared to other major cities it's not so bad.

There is options for everybody. Everybody can enjoy the area no matter the age! There is grocery stores and everything you'll need around the neighborhood.
