Danvers is a wonderful town with many services for the eldery
This town is relatively age-friendly. There is a senior center, many nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the area. I'm not exactly sure what things make a place age friendly or unfriendly but there seems to be a relatively sizeable mature community. There are many malls and shopping centers where one stop shopping can be accomplished. And there are services, such as "the ride" that are available.
neighbors same age as I am and are likely to do the same things; There are things in the town for my age group like restaunts nd stores I enjoy going to
Danvers has a very active senior services program. A separate senior center which offers a myriad of activities, including transportation services, multi-day bus trips and an adult day program.
