There are already many seniors living here and the town is senior friendly. There is a senior transit system and percentage off senior places and discounts.
I don't agree that my neighborhood is eight friendly because of the drug activity. They don't have a lot for people to do. I don't believe they have good transportation for the elderly to get to appointments. I just would not recommend this community to anyone at this moment community has potential to be something great just needs a lot of work.
Its an okay place.
Becasue I love my town yea my town has issues but what place really doesn't and home is home
We have a great senior center with publis transportation. They have a lot of activities for the elderly. We have a Walmart. Not a lot of name brand stores but they are only about 30 minutes away. A good police force. We have a great school system also a IvyTech a few other places from other colleges like IU. Also our senior highschool offers a vocational school so you can be job ready after graduation. There is some factory work. Also minimum wage as well. I actually received my CNA license in 11th grade. Made a career of it. A lot of possibilities if your ambitious.
