The town live in is age friendly. I approach people all of the time, befriending them and just being open with strangers. I spark conversations and sometimes make acquaintances with people and sometimes make friends with strangers I never knew existed. Some people don't respond to the conversations I spark others do. I was at the at the laundry mat and I was watching the football game. I began talking to about my favorite team with a total stranger. We hit it off. The person was very friendly and I enjoyed their company.
I think collingdale is age friendly because theirs a lot of elderly people in that neighborhood that just does things that you see on tv , it's never loud around there everything is just perfect
Around the collingdale area is very age friendly, most of the people who live in those houses are older. The older couples and older people are usually helped with their grass, help bringing in food, etc. Respect is high at all times, no loud noises or disruptions.
Everyone pretty much stay too themselves ..
It makes this place friendly because people wants to get to know you and make friends. There's schools, you can always depend on transportation when you don't have a car. It will always be a way.
