very friendly
I am new to Chico, California. We moved here 15 months ago because my sister moved here about 4 years ago. Since living here we found that Chico is extremely friendly with older, retired people many of whom are
retired professors/teachers that taught at Chico State University or grade school. Chico is also friendly with younger people as well.
Lots of older adults, several community activities, a College centered city with classes available for all ages. Other activities such as senior centers.
