I am new to Chico, California. We moved here 15 months ago because my sister moved here about 4 years ago. Since living here we found that Chico is extremely friendly with older, retired people many of whom are
retired professors/teachers that taught at Chico State University or grade school. Chico is also friendly with younger people as well.
I have no clue whether or not it is age friendly, I am only 16.
The bus service could be more frequent for people luving in Chico. There are many organizations who help seniors with extra services such as meal delivery, advice on medicare, etc.
People are very friendly here in general. I haven't noticed particulars with regard to specifics in areas noted above. I imagine younger employees are favored in many companies.
very friendly
