I believe my town is somewhat age friendly because there are a variety of places for all types of people to go for people of all ages. For examples in my neighborhood I have 4 high schools right down the street from my house, I have a community center near me, a church across the street from me, multiple stores and restaurants, etc.
My neighborhood it very family oriented- they throw block parties, neighborhood watches, just if someone is in need of anything, someone close will help. The neighbors host a Sunday school for the neighborhood kids 4-16 and a lot more.
It's mix culture older people with older children's they have grandkids kids walking by going to their cars on the bus
I'm invited frequently to dinners and meetings through the alderman and senator.

Chicago is a city full of opportunity and possibilities. There is senior living, senior discounts, senior care, and jobs available if they want to keep busy and make a living.
