Loving, caring! I have been a caregiver since the age of 12yrs old after my mother passed in 1976 she was a NURSE....I raised my 3 younger brothers! I LOVE PEOPLE!
In the city of Charlotte we many programs and places that help people of all ages stay active in our community. Many churches, schools and business host free exercise, cooking, and job development classes to help educate and help the community become more involved.
There is a neighborhood within Highland Creek called Falcon Ridge that is made up of smaller, ranch type homes geared to older residents. Lawn care is provided and a club house with activities. Also, there is an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in HC. Lots of walking trails, pool, tennis, club house with activities.
Has a lot of resources for elder but not enough
I am located right at the corner of So. Tryon Street and Yorkdale Drive. Although the 16 bus stop is right at the corner it is going outbound. So. Tryon Street is extremely busy and dangerous street to try to cross to get to the 16 to take me inbound to the Charlotte Transportation Center.
