Camden is a city where many professional people retire, especially military. They have the money to hire the help they require, but those of us who are not wealthy are in need of senior employment, public transportation and community engagement. There is a community college in Camden, but I haven't found that seniors are offered any discounts in tuition or book rentals and I don't believe there is public transportation available, either.
Basically because in the neighborhood I live in every one can be out and about minding their own business and there's never a problem.
A lot of older people live in this area. When eating out or running errands, I find the personal interaction with others very agreeable. This is a very nice and beautiful city.
