Brooklyn's official motto, displayed on the Borough seal and flag, is Eendraght Maeckt Maght which translates from early modern Dutch as "Unity makes strength". Since 2010, Brooklyn has evolved into a thriving hub of entrepreneurship and high technology startup firms, and of postmodern art and design. Brooklyn can be a desirable place for older adults to live for many reasons:

The neighborhoods are very friendly and well respected also everyone gets along the schools are adaptable and all the younger generation is well mannered and give the upmost respect to new and elderly people we appreciate our community and help one another out
There are many different Senior Centers, Adult Day Care and Rehabilitation Centers for the seniors to go daily. They have different activities such as exercise classes, dance classes, games like BINGO (they love Bingo). On the bus, they pay half price for their fare. At most supermarkets, they have Senior Citizen day when they get 10 or 20% discount so they look forward to that day to do their shopping.
A variety of people in this neighborhood and most people are friendly and kind.
