Brooklyn can be a desirable place for older adults to live for many reasons:

In this community seniors are acknowledged, loved and respected. There are always people who are willing to assist seniors to get on the bus, and offer them a seat. They are also assisted with their groceries and shopping carts. There are also community programs and eldercare services in this community.
relatively age friendly. Access to Prospect Park, nearby shopping and better than adequate public transportation.
