Brooklyn's official motto, displayed on the Borough seal and flag, is Eendraght Maeckt Maght which translates from early modern Dutch as "Unity makes strength". Since 2010, Brooklyn has evolved into a thriving hub of entrepreneurship and high technology startup firms, and of postmodern art and design. Brooklyn can be a desirable place for older adults to live for many reasons:

A lot parks, a lot of transportation like buses, cars, trains, and vans and I'm surrounded by school.
I believe my community is age friendly because it very easy to get around and the public transport is available very often.
We love each other
This place is age friendly because everyone works together to make sure the community is clean. And if you need help, you are not alone, people will help you get to where you need to go. An example is when I first started living in the neighborhood, I wanted to go to Manhattan but I did not know how to get there and people at the bus stop help me get to where I needed to go. Another example is when I did not have a metro card at the bus stop, I give them $3 and they will swipe for me knowing that I don't have a metro card.
