Highway convenience, elbow room and space, 20 mins to Boston.
Nice, friendly town, but owning a home is expensive, both the price of the home and the real estate taxes. Some senior housing available, but there is a waiting list (Four Mile Village). Good Council on Aging and Library programs. Limited public transportation but train and bus lines in nearby towns access Boston and surrounding areas. Subway in Boston covers much of the city. Medical facilities are outstanding in the area. Many colleges offer programs of study for seniors.
IT'S ISOLATED, NOT GOOD FOR OLDER PEOPLE. HOUSES ARE FAR APART, NO ONE KNOWS EACHOTHER, NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION UNWALKABLE. EASY TO NEVER LEAVE HOUSE

No public transportation. Very isolating. Decent Council on Aging but housed in a poor building. Very expensive to live in. Zoned no businesses in town. This is a bedroom community for raising children - tax dollars go to buying more land to keep pristine/wild, schools, and sports fields for the kids.
