Bowie is a city in Prince George's County, Maryland. The population was 54,727 at the 2010 U.S. Census. Bowie has grown from a small railroad stop to the largest municipality in Prince George's County, and the fifth most populous city and third largest city by area in the U.S. state of Maryland. In 2014 CNN Money ranked Bowie 28th in its Best Places to Live in America list.

It is friendly because of the people who live there and it is a very quiet neighborhood.
Just the general community and resources make it age friendly
I believe that the average age of the residents appears to be above 50 years old. Transportation is very accessible, there are social conveniences such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, a baseball and football field and very low crime rate.
Love my neighborhood except the speed on the street.
