My community is specifically for age 55+ adults. It is friendly, quiet, and the residents care about each other. We go out of our way to help in any way we can.
it caters to all ages young and old has all community service and centers for all ages.has elderly housing also youth services and centers for amusement and entertainment.
Restaurants and shopping close by easy access to highways and downtown easy access to 2 major airports pus there is tax free shopping within a 10 minute drive and outlet shopping within 15 minutes.
It is age friendly as there are neighbors that have been here for decades but some younger nice newer neighbors as well. Many children 11-15 come to visit people in the neighborhood.
West Roxbury has a number of hospital, restaurants, parks and nursing homes. It has a good selection of grocery stores that even deliver. You can get around easily by bus, uber, and train. It is a family oriented city.
Boston takes aging very seriously and provides lots of resources for citizens to do so with grace and dignity!
West Roxbury is extremely age friendly because of its senior housing and transportation programs.
Beacon Hill is extremely age friendly because it has great public transit, a strong sense of community, and a local senior center.
Hyde Park is incredibly age friendly because it has ample transportation, a senior center, and awesome opportunities!
My neighborhood is restricted to age 55 and over. All residents here must fall into that age bracket. There are no children allowed in this neighborhood.
