The senior center provides activities for seniors and there are a limited number of housing units for seniors. On the downside there are no grocery stores in the immediate area.
There is families here that all have kids and all the kids seem to be around the same age. They ride the bus together and are all friends so they are glad to ride the bus
we have alot of "snowbirds" in our area. People of maturity spend the winter down south while enjoying our beaches and beautiful weather during the warmer months. Lots of historical sites to explore and not a far jaunt to Boston.
Most of us are older and we work together very well. We all help each other and work to keep the neighborhood safe. Can't think of a better neighborhood to live in.
Ease to highway good restaurants and shopping family oriented town but close enough to city and beaches and airport rhat makes it a good place.
Not too many young children near us which makes it on the quiet side for us, which is great. We are not elderly yet, but being in our older 50s, I would not want to be in a neighborhood of young families.
its very friendly and it is quaint. The area is very quiet but still some stores around it. i feel it is very serene. The people are extremely nice.
Almost everyone is in the middle to late 50's or older most people have been living in their houses for many years most over 25 years and have had children grow up there
It is age-friendly due to the fact that all the yard work is done by the condo association and snow removal is also taken care of. Plus, I have relationships with several of my neighbors.
Groveland is a small town. Mostly houses not very many businesses. I feel the only reason most are in Groveland is because they live there or have family that lives there
