Bakersfield is a growing town but still small enough to reach out to those in need. It offers the elderly many living arrangements and opportunities for assistance, There are always events and fund raising for anyone who may need help for whatever reason. Education is good and we offer two great colleges, Bakersfield College and Cal State. Transportation is readily available, whether it be a city bus or Golden Empire Transit for a person with a disability.
