They invite to church, whole family, and neighbors speaks, polite, and friendly.
Bakersfield is somewhat age friendly because they have transportation such as buses that can get those who are unable to drive anymore to locations such as the grocery store, hair salon, and bank.
Bakersfield is a community that is fairly age-friendly with programs for older individuals to participate in, senior transportation, discounts, etc. I have been challenged, however, in trying to get a job at age 61. I am in good health and active, with a Bachelor's Degree, but it seems that when I reach the interview stage on jobs I have applied for, I get passed over. I have never been without a job, so this is a new experience for me.
VERY QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD RESPECTIVELY COLLEGE COMMUNITY
Sweet people all around
