We haven't met any one in our community. They are very unfriendly and never said hi.

It's a great place to live. Downtown has a train station that goes to Boston, Providence, anywhere trains go. It has buses. It has a senior center. I'm not involved with it, I don't really know anything about it but it's there. There's a beautiful, brand new high rise senior living residence right in the center of town. I think that one's for rich seniors. There are a few others in the area as well. They have a hospital, which is convenient. You can do volunteer work there. As for part time jobs, there are some stores there, chains that have part time jobs but you'd only be able to have one part time job. I have one and thought about getting another one along with the one I already have but most places want you to be available days, nights weekends. You can't be available for all these times if you already have a part time job at night and an occasional weekend. Retail is known for being like this, they want you at their beck and call every hour they're open or you don't work there. If you want one part time job, there are a few places I go to that I see old people working there. Other than retail businesses that seem to have the same hiring practices and low pay scales every where, it's a nice, clean city. There's a college that has a small campus there. There's a park with animals and there are some nice places to walk right in the downtown center. Some nice restaurants too. People are very friendly. It has a group on Face Book that all ages can join for info and things. There's a few funeral homes and cemeteries for those that want to remain here.
