I would say that my town is very age friendly. We have a small family run grocery store that my Mum used to love because it was not overwhelming and just the right size for her to walk it and shop. My neighborhood is very senior friendly. there are many over 50 residents and they are often outside with their dogs walking or congregating on the beautiful grounds just to talk. We are located next door to a senior center, The Abington Council on Aging. Right across the street is the commuter rail train that goes to Boston. There is a great little park within walking distance called Island Grove. This past weekend they had and Autumn Festival Celebration run by the town. It is a great place to live.
Transportation caring special events for everyone
Abington os a town full of young families raising children in the new school system. We have stores and restaurants that work for all ages.
People have lived here for a while and they are always looking out for one another.
My Apartment complex, The Woodlands is right next to the Senior Center, Commuter Rail and a small family run grocery store. The complex has many adults over the age of 50. It is a great place to live for seniors.
