Wesley Chapel is an unincorporated census-designated place in Pasco County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Tampa Bay Area metro. The population was 44,092 at the 2010 census. In 2003, some residents of Wesley Chapel started a movement to incorporate the community (including areas not in the official CDP). This "city," which would have been the largest and most populous in Pasco County, never materialized.

Poor public transportation
Terrace Park is a 55+ community. I have only been living in the Wesley Chapel/Zypherhills, FL area for about 6 weeks. So far, it appears to be age-friendly.
I have been lived there for a while, that is why I mentioned that area. I went to school there, I worked there.
There are a lot of Snowbirds and retirees in general in the area I live. It is an affordable alternative to the Tampa neighborhoods and still fairly close. But, with the growth comes more traffic and roads are crowded
My community is neither age friendly nor unfriendly. All ages are welcome. In fact, there is, more than likely, more seniors living in my community than younger folks. There is bus transportation services for seniors as well as extensive medical services and hopsipitals, etc. Crime is not very prevelant at all. People can walk outside during the day, etc.
