The number of people are similar age.
valley stream is one of the safest neighborhood in New York. The public schools are some of the best in New York & the village offers so much to the people that live in it.
Diversity of Ages, Ethnicity, Occupation, access to public transportation and access to groceries and supplies.
The community has a variety of activities for seniors to do. Great medical doctors and facilities are nearby. Transportation is available, but not always easily accessible for seniors. I see many signs posted for activities at different locations and the Incorporated Village does their best to keep seniors engaged.
