There are a few senior and mixed neighborhoods in Chester. On the one hand, the neighborhoods are nice and the neighbors friendly. On the other hand, Chester has grown so that driving is crowded. Churches in the area are great.
Chester, VA is a nice, safe area to visit and live in. It has great restaurants, shopping and other attractions. The school system is great and the residents are nice. I do live in Petersburg, VA and this area is nice as well.
