Soddy-Daisy is a city in Hamilton County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 12,714 at the 2010 census and estimated to be 13,217 in 2016. The city was formed in 1969 when the communities of Soddy (to the north) and Daisy (to the south), along with nearby developed areas along U.S. Highway 27, merged to form Soddy-Daisy. It is rapidly becoming a bedroom community of nearby Chattanooga and is part of the Chattanooga Metropolitan Statistical Area. Sequoyah Nuclear Generating Station is located in Soddy-Daisy.

Many new housing options being constructed. Transportation for senior daycare available. Close to 3 major medical centers, one being a trauma center. Suburb of Chattanooga TN with many cultural offerings, many recreational activities including hiking and walking areas and also a university.
We have a nursing home in our town. And we also have a senior citizen Community Center where elderly can come and do various activities such as Bible study, get assistance with tax preparation, and go on short trips.
The environment is very healthy, free from the extres of big cities. fresh air and little pollution. peaceful environment
