Many businesses have age friendly accomodations. Transportation, community, and library.
The town, as are most in Nassau, the highest taxes in new York ! However, that's part of why it's so safe for the elderly.
Neighborhood consists of many elderly residences. There are many age friendly ramps everywhere for elderly, and many helpful people who seem to be helpful and respectful here.
General livability.
Mostly because of what sadly seems to be a growing problem.....It is a very safe neighborhood ! And by safe, I mean no wrong doings towards, or to, or with the elderly !
