Norwell is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 10,506 at the 2010 Census. The town's southeastern border runs along the North River.

In Norwell there is a grocery shop called Big Y. They have discounts of 10% with a Silver card. On tuesdays it is 20% off the bill. Norwell does have a great Senior Center that has a varity of groups such as art, excersize from tai chi strengthening groups. The also address balance issues and tailor the groups that are the most valuable for the community. Lunches are also opportunities for connections.

we welcome all neighbors. We do not care what thier ages are. Some have been my neighbors for a long time. This town is a age friendly town. Everybody on my street knows eachother.

How did Massachusetts earn the grade of C? We examined the state taxes based on how age friendly they are. Massachusetts has a state sales tax of 6.25%. Of particular interest is that Massachusetts does not have taxes on social security. There are estate taxes. There are no taxes imposed on inheritance.
