My town doesn't have much in the way of outreach for the elderly or general services provided specifically for them. There aren't activities or groups that I am aware of. It is not unfriendly, however, as the town is generally very friendly and geared toward helping one another if it is requested. It is a small, not heavily funded town.
New Ipswich doesn't offer any activities or programs that are specific for the elderly or catered for them. The community isn't age-unfriendly and would help a neighbor that needed it, but more could be done publicly to engage the aging population.
