It's a great community
Quiet little neighborhood close to grocery store
I been a caregiver for 6 years and the services are good
It a beautiful, quiet, little town, when you go for a walk just about everyone you come in contact with says either good morning or hello. So the community is pretty friendly. There is a lot of little shops all around town here, and all the shop keepers are great. Another thing I love about Mifflin County, (that is where Lewistown is located at) is Goose Day. It is believed if you eat Goose on September 29th you'll be ok for money. But because of this day, The community of Mifflin County and Juniata County have put up beautiful painted Geese all over for us to enjoy. I just love looking at them. My husband and I take a picture of our 3 year old niece with every Goose we've seen so far in Lewistown. We just started this last weekend. We've probably found around 10 now. The town is coming back to life which I am so happy for everyone. It makes it nicer.
