This city has one of the largests retirement communities
There is a retirement community here and has been here foe more that 30 years. It's a community unto itself. Everything is centered for Senior living, at all levels of care. I worked in assisted living as a CNA for over a year.
Neighbors are friendly, wave when they walk by might stop to say a few words to me or my family if we are outside. My neighbor across the street called and told me my garage door had been open for a long time and she was concerned. Another offered to lift stuff for me if I needed. and another jumped the fence to help do the top of a tall bush I was trimming.
John Knox Village is the 3rd largest continuing care retirement community in the U.S. Some very wealthy residents, but mostly above average middle class & income. It's a suburb of Kansas City, MO.
It provides interest to all ages
