Overall Leeds, Alabama is a much Changing Little Town some 10 miles east of it's Big Brother Birmingham ; It has several Lovely Parks; A growing Downtown, Many New Homes are being built along with Retail Businesses. Years ago Leeds was Like "Mayberry", yet not anymore, primarily it's inner city area finds retired couples roundabout and welcome. Except for increasing traffic problems, Leeds is a peaceful & Lovely little town to Retire In, fine medical and Church facilities nearby. A Public Transit Van is Available for those in need. If You Enjoy Outdoors and Streams and Hills a Fine place to settle down.
