Most of what is needed is nearby, except doctor's offices. There's only one doctor's office in the town. There is a community center which has a room dedicated just for seniors. They play dominoes and other games. They had a knitting instructor, but she moved away to be closer to family. The community center has a workout center with various gym equipment. There is a big open room that they do line dancing in. That's about all that I know about the center. La Grange has a couple of insurance companies and dollar stores. There is only one grocery store though. There are quite a few churches in town. There are at least 8 churches in our small town. There's a few restaurants in town, but most are closed on Mondays. La Grange is situated between 2 larger cities, which are 15 minutes away for either one. The larger cities of Kinston and Goldsboro both have hospitals and a lot of medical offices. There are more shopping centers in both towns. Goldsboro is the bigger of the two.
