The small town atmosphere is good and there is ample shopping for everyday needs. Crimes such as burglary and drugs are high for the size of the community and law enforcement is not adequate.

The small town feel is great and the people are friendly to all. The town is probably more age friendly for older adults than for younger people. There is little in the way of entertainment.
The crime rate is bad due to the heavy drug use and burglary is rampent.
Jobs aren't plentiful.
The eating places are excellent with home cooking, Mexican, bar-be-que, and burgers.
There is a small bus transportation but the rural area is lacking in the big city services.
