Hawkinsville is a city in and the county seat of Pulaski County, Georgia, United States. The population was 4,589 at the 2010 census.
Hawkinsville is known as the "Harness Horse Capital" of Georgia. The Lawrence Bennett Harness Horse Racing facility is owned by the city and serves as an important training ground during winter months. The Harness Festival takes place every April at the end of training before horses head north for the harness racing season.

It’s friendly has things for children and senior citizens to do. A new senior citizen is being built good school system Several churches to choose from we have nice places to eat new parks for kids and a pickle ball court. Has public transit van for those who don’t drive. Down town is continuing to grow..

NOT ALOTOF PUBLICTRANSIT SCHOOL SYSTEM IS GOOD HAVE SENIOR LIVIBG HOMES ASSISTED LIVING. Apartments senior citzen center wheretheymeet have lunch plsy games.

Rent is a lot cheaper so is property tax . Good school system good reck department nice apartments for the elderly transit bus for errands Dr appts grocery store to local places
