DeBary is a city in Volusia County, Florida, United States, on the northern shore of the St. Johns River near Lake Monroe. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 19,320. It is part of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach, FL metropolitan statistical area, which was home to 590,289 people in 2010.

Over all it is a very nice place to live. No bus SVC. has access to other types of transport,very high price to use. Safe enough., not to traffic unless you count traffic going into Orlando, Fl.from Daytona Bch. on 17-02.it is not great . just ok.

Basicly all of Volusia County is very age friendly..Alot of Adult Living Communities and Gated Communities..Votran buses..Nice Libraries and Early Bird special at the resturants
