The general livability of our community is excellent. There is one senior living home and a senior center here. The nearest hospital is about 15 miles away and the nearest quick care facility is about 20 miles away. . We have a good north-south transportation artery through town, but not very good in the other direction.Since we are a rapidly growing community, the city administrators see taxing residents as a cash cow. As a result, taxes are high and unaffordable for seniors.
