The primary settlement in town, where 1,301 people resided at the 2010 census, is defined by the U.S. Census Bureau as the Belmont census-designated place (CDP) and includes the densely populated portion of the town near the intersection of New Hampshire Route 106 and New Hampshire Route 140.

Yes, I like Belmont because this is a great area that is convenient to grocery stores, Walmart, nearby mall for walking and we also have a Beach that I work at in the summer. We have 2 nearby concert areas that also perform plays and we have lots of outdoor concerts in summer. Many Tribute bands have also come to this area to perform, and it's an easy drive to both locations.
