I would absolutely say that this is a age friendly community for all ages. I said that because not only was I born in Woburn Massachusetts but I now have my own family living here. My fiancé and myself have my nine-year-old son, and a 14-year-old and 16-year-old stepson of mine. Therefore I have one child in elementary, one in middle school, and one in the very high school I graduated from. Our education department has challenged each of my children to apply themselves to the fullest. The resources and guidance that they have received has impacted Them in a positive way to the fullest. Any trip to the grocery store, pharmacy, even a gas station always seems to be a pleasurable experience. Most if not all residents are respectable and friendly. Not only do we have city league teams but also recreational activities for these children to become a part of. Everything from soccer, basketball to football has been an experience for my children. Children here are raised with manners and talk to respect all especially elders. My grandma lives in a veteran housing complex that she absolutely loves. At the age of 91 she is constantly involved in some sort of fun with women and friends of her age as well.

My city is Absolutely age friendly for all ages. I was born and raised here and then moved away for three years just to return and begin my own family. I now have a nine-year-old son, a 14 and 16-year-old stepson. Therefore I have one child in elementary school, one in middle school, and one in the very high school that I had attended and graduated from. Each of my children are actively involved with sports varying from soccer, basketball, to football. We all participate in recreational activities as well .., such as public ice-skating on the weekends as a family. I've lived in my apartment for 7 plus years now and I have built great relationships with all my neighbors. Customer service at our local supermarket, gas stations or pharmacies have always been a friendly pleasant experience. Having reliable, respectable, and honest people in the community is a essential part of raising a family. People of all ages have a special part to our community community. Communication with other parents has always been an open book with my kids and their parents. We look out for one another as any parent would want. Children here raised with manners in respect. Holding doors for women and elders, being honest which then turns into trust earned by others. I have a 91-year-old grandmother who now resides in One of Woburns elderly housing complexes and she absolutely Adores her home. She is a widow of a veteran , My grandfather. Shortly after his passing she was immediately eligible for the elderly veteran housing. Though moving from a big beautiful home to a small apartment was an adjustment it was a perfect fit for her. Her neighbors became friends and they now participate in bingo night, watching football on Sundays or having coffee or lunch together. I myself have worked with elderly as a caregiver and a home how they three years and we went has some of the finest long-term care facilities, rehabilitation, and elderly apartments communities. Not to mention every Dunkin' Donuts gives a 20% discount to elderly as well at least in my city!
