I feel that surprise is an age friendly neighborhood because, it's a small city where the elderly come to retire. It's quite the crime rate is low, and there are many different place they can go to enjoy activities. There are surrounding cities as well just for the elderly like sun city west and young town where they have there own community just for them.

I will be moving back to El Mirage and that is located next to Youngtown which is primarily a retirement community. There is alot of cheaper rental rates in that area making it slightly more accommodating for older individuals.
