Stockton is the county seat of San Joaquin County in the Central Valley of the U.S. State of California. Stockton was founded by Captain Charles Maria Weber in 1849 after he acquired Rancho Campo de los Franceses. The city is named after Robert F. Stockton, and it was the first community in California to have a name not of Spanish or Native American origin. The city is located on the San Joaquin River in the northern San Joaquin Valley and had an estimated population of 320,554 by the California Department of Finance for 2017. Stockton is the 13th largest city in California and the 63rd largest city in the United States. It was named an All-America City in 1999, 2004, 2015 and again in 2017. Built during the California Gold Rush, Stockton's seaport serves as a gateway to the Central Valley and beyond. It provided easy access for trade and transportation to the southern gold mines. The University of the Pacific (UOP), chartered in 1851, is the oldest university in California, and has been located in Stockton since 1923. As a result of the 2008 financial crisis, Stockton was the second largest city in the United States to file for bankruptcy protection. Stockton successfully exited bankruptcy in February 2015.

I think with all the homeless and addictions number of people in this city that are desperately in needs of help either from Government, people, churches, personal level some are friendly and some unfriendly. But I pray to God that if there's a way for me to be able to reach out and help any of them Whether if it's food, beliefs, praying with them, emotionally, mentally, physically, I would do anything to help. My kids and family takes some days out of the week just to drive around town handing out food for the need. Give out a little something because it might be a little help from me but it's probably a life saving for them. So with all that being said I know my roles in this world was to help others when they are in need of can help in any way. It's my passion and It's an awesome feeling knowing you help someone else.
