Retirement community down the street, community center with inside pool, beautiful park with fishing year round, Lights during the holidays and special events during the year. No crime or gang problems. Plenty of churches and places to eat, right on the OATS bus route due to the retirement community. Plenty of joggers, walkers, bike riders and children on their way to school which is also two blocks away.

Lots of Room, nature, places to walk, sit, watch children and others play, walk, and enjoy the outdoors. No crime, friendly people with dogs on leashes, biking and jogging. On the main bus route and just down from the city community center, Liberty Park is an oasis in a town in no need of an oasis. There's baseball and softball at the stadium, there's fishing 12 months out of the year, and at Christmas the park is lit up like the Plaza in Kansas City. Great neighbors who watch out one another.

Sedalia, and this area of, has existed for over one hundred years. Besides a Lake with fountains, and clean green cut grass with well pruned trees, there are flower gardens works of art, and children's playground equipment available for the whole community. A Century Old Baseball park, tennis courts and Community Center with indoor pool and workout facilities are all in one easy to walk to area. There's affordable living in modest houses as well as Group homes, retirement apartment living and all just a couple of minutes from Wal-Mart, Kohls, Lowes, McDonalds, Taco Bell and Starbucks. There's a College that's very active and the Daum Art Museum the largest Modern Art museum that's also FREE in the Midwest. Cost of Living is manageable and all necessary civil services are available and fully funded by a city government that isn't and hasn't stood pat.

I was born and raised nearly all my life there is minimal changes going on and they seem to welcome those with disabilities and those with the challenges of aging. We are a good old hometown kind of feel area.
