no bus transportation from Redding to Cottonwood. Many seniors need public transportation
We have several churches in our town that have wonderful senior programs, the the Senior Center offers activities for our seniors which include bingo, dancing and exercise classes. Transportation is plentiful, we have our Raba Bus system as well as shuttle buses that are a part of our assisted living facilities.
Redding is very friendly to the elderly population. There are many programs such as Dignity Health's food distribution program and housing for the low income seniors. Redding also has transportation programs for seniors as well as the disabled. We treat seniors with respect and dignity. .
not sure
Over all it's expensive as far as cost of living goes, but it's a beautiful place to live. The crime rate/general livability could be better.
