Caring facilities, health and medical establishments, dining places, and other establishments are conveniently situated in this safe community. Transportation isn't as bad as others.

Auburndale is lovely with plentiful public transit and a cute commercial district, which includes a grocery store, two coffee shops, gift store, library and several places to eat. Unfortunately, the public transit train stops have steep stairs, and the commuter rail station has no elevator. Also, there are few small housing options, i.e. few apartment buildings, few condominiums, and a limited number of affordable senior apartments with very long waitlists.

No shuttle services provided to the Senior Center. Commuter rail train stop has no ramps for accessibility -- only steep stairs.
