Mocksville is a town in Davie County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 5,051 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Davie County.

This place is a largely rural small town. The people are nice and are willing to assist you in any way if possible. If you have an accident they are there. A good volunteer fire department,excellent health care and two major hospitals nearby plus two good rural school systems. Nearby large cities are Winston-Salem,NC,Charlotte and Greensboro.

Mocksville is in the rural county of Davie County,NC. It has churches, a vibrant friendly and safe Senior Center,nice neighbors,an excellent healthcare system(NC Baptist Hospital and close by Rowan Regional Hospital), golf courses and also several colleges including Livingstone College in Salisbury,Davidson County Community College in Lexington,NC,Forsyth Tech Community College in the city of Winston-Salem,NC plus several school system that have large populations of rural students.

The school system, it's very safe, transportation is good and people are nice.
