West Monroe is a city in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is situated on the Ouachita River, across from the neighboring city of Monroe. The two cities are often referred to as the Twin Cities of northeast Louisiana. Its population was 13,065 at the 2010 census and it is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area. The mayor, Dave Norris, a Democrat, has served since July 1, 1978, and was unopposed for a tenth term in the municipal election in 2014.

West monroe is a friendly town that has senior living and also a senior citizen center. It has multiple rentals for 65 and older and people with disabilities. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the stores cater to seniors

Nice clean older neighborhood. Well built houses. And is close to everything
I feel like when you are assisting an elderly person I be hands on to assist them with eating showers or bath preparation of food and light house cleaning and laundry. I will transfer them to the Doctor or grocery shopping and grooming
